College Blues: Last day

Well, this is my last day in Dublin. Friday at 5 in the morning, I'll be leaving Dublin, my home, my family and my friends. I'll starting a new journey for my life. A new chapter has just been open in the book of Michael and another one closes, But that's life.

I have lived in Dublin for about 8 years now, I've had my ups and downs, but it comes time in a mans life where he needs to move on and make something of himself. That time has come.

I've really like doing these " College Blues" notes. Not just so everyone can see how much I love tony, but to reflect on an enjoyable life. For some reason this note has been the hardest to write, I shed a tear every time I think about what I've been through. I can't imagine what I'll be going through in the next 8 years. But now it's the future and I need to thank people who will affect my next 8 years.

Tony Lipps-For the 3rd and final time, Mr. Tony Lipps. Tonight I went to his house for dinner with my family and his family. We got on the topic of crazy adventures. Tony and I decided to tell our craziest time together and then it hit me... We have had more crazy times being best friends for 8 year then many people have in a lifetime. Tony and I have had a unique friendship. We have been through our bad times, our good times and everything in between. He has always been a solid force in my life. He doesn't know this, but he has taught me so much about myself. I have really started believing in the saying that Best friends are the siblings god forgot to give us. Tony has always been my brother, my friend, my best friend. He will have a very successful life. He is determined to be the best in everything and He is! Tony and I have so many more unique journeys and adventures to have in our life.

My Mom had this conversation with me tonight, about how I would stay friends with Tony, due to us going different directions in our life. It shook me a little, but it hit me.. There is no option, We HAVE to be best friends. We have to grow old and watch our kids play basketball together. We have to keep in touch. Tony, you are my best bud. I love you like a brother. You have been my brother in a lonely world. You will always be with me in my heart. So thank you Tony for being so loyal to me, for being my best friend

Terry- Anne-I truly do love my sister. Terry-Anne hasn't been a huge figure physically in my life, due to the distance between us. But she never lets me down. She is the most fantastic sister a person can have. She and I are very much a like. We have so much in common. I truly do miss my sister, She happens to be my favorite family member. She will always lend a helping hand in need. In the future I know I'll see her more. I love you Terry. I truly do. Remember you're walking down the red carpet with me.

David Corris- Dave is my key to college. He will become my best friend in Chicago. He has always been a good buddy of mine. I look up to him like an older brother. I can't wait to get to see him almost every single day. We truly hit it off in the summer of 06!! He befriended Tony and I. I really appreciated that. Now look at me! I'm all grown up and can't wait to see you!


Derek Herman- Derek! Dude! This is it! Our time to run Roosevelt. I'm so happy I met you and we becoming roomies. Thank god, there are so many weird kids out there.... So lets run this place and I can't wait to finally become your friend and learn from you! You seem like a "cool cat" not a tool thank god! Well, Derek. I can't wait for you to become my support system in college... Good luck man!

Brianna Schumacher- You seem like such a great girl!! I can't wait to meet you. You will be a big part of my future and what not. Lets go to the gym and work it out!!!

Hylton Lea- Words can't describe this man. He happens to be the nicest, caring, best looking individual I know. Hylton will help you out before he helps himself out. I really believe you will be a big part of my life, heck you are a big part. I try to model myself off of Hylton. But of course, I can't be as good as he is!

Well, guys, That's it.. Its over... That's all folks... My chapter in Dublin is over.. A new chapter just opened up... Chicago..

I will miss you, Tony... I truly will. Bye Buddy. Keep your head up!! And never look down!!
